Booking, Payment & Refund Policies
Full Day and Part-day Tours can be booked on-line from this web site
You can see detailed tour information here. Check availability for dates and times, and make your booking direct from the buttons on our home page (scroll down from here). Your Full Day and Part-Day tour booking is made and paid for in advance. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
On-line booking and payment
Using the booking buttons described above (scroll down from here) you can do your entire transaction on-line and make your payment using most major credit cards. There is a 6% booking fee added by our booking intermediary at time of check-out when using the on-line booking system.
Alternatively we can book you off-line
Contact us directly by email here. Please feel free to ask any questions and let us know how many in your party, the date(s) and tour(s) you are interested in. We can discuss your query by email and/or by phone. Once you decide we will send you an invoice by email for advance payment by Paypal (globally) or by Interac etransfer if you use a Canadian bank account.
Multi-Day and Custom Tours are booked by contacting us directly
You can see the details of our Multi-Day offerings here, and each description has a link button to our Contact page so you can get in touch with us to check availability and make your booking. Let us know what you're interested in and when, and we'll take it from there. We can subsequently chat by phone or email to get you set up.
Multi-Day Tours typically involve third party partners (hotels, marinas, etc.) so we need to check availability with them before we can confirm your itinerary. It may take a day or a few to set this up so it's good to book these as far in advance as possible. Once we've agreed on your tour and cost we will invoice you for an advance deposit of 50%. Upon receipt of payment, your booking is confirmed. We will invoice you for the balance, payable 30 days prior to your sailing day.
Refunds and Cancellations
If you change your mind after booking
- You can cancel your booking for any reason within 7 days of making it, if that's at least 90 days in advance of your booked date. We'll give you a full refund no questions asked.
- Otherwise you can cancel your booking anytime up to 14 days prior to your sailing date and we will refund 85% of your advance payment(s).
- If you cancel less than 14 days before your booked date you will forfeit your payment.
Exceptions to the policies above
- In the event of severe weather that makes it unwise to sail on your charter day, we will offer you the option of an alternate date or full credit for a future booking TBA. If neither of these is possible for you we will refund 100% of your advance payment(s).
- In the event of a Public Health and Safety advisory/regulation that restricts travel or our operations (such as experienced during the Covid 19 pandemic) we will offer you a full credit for a future booking date TBA, or we will refund 100% of your advance payment(s).
- If we need to cancel your sailing date for any other reason you will have the option to reschedule, receive a full credit for a future booking or a full refund.
- We understand that unpredictable issues may affect your travel plans on short notice and we are always open to consider relaxing our policies due to circumstances such as personal health issues and airline delays. We are always open to rescheduling with late notice if possible.
For Multi-Day bookings
- The costs for these tours include our sailing fees plus costs from our accommodation partners (hotels, inns and resorts). Our refund policy applies to the sailing portion of your fees. Our accommodations partners have their own cancellation/refund policies which can be explained prior to booking.
Last minute arrangements: Will do if we can!
While we encourage advance bookings to ensure you get the charter date you prefer, we are always open to last-minute enquiries. If we have the availability, we will be pleased to arrange a sailing charter for you at the last minute. Please don't hesitate to call anytime.
